The Graypants Scraplights Ohio Pendant is a large-scale pendant from the Scraplights range by Graypants. Handcrafted from recycled cardboard, the Ohio delivers warm, diffused ambient illumination and is intended for larger spaces such as lobbies, conference tables and other areas with generous ceiling height.

The pendant’s flattened spheroid form is built from numerous horizontal layers of corrugated cardboard, producing a rhythmic, textured silhouette. The Ohio is available in Natural and White finishes to suit different schemes.

Each shade is precision laser cut and hand assembled using non-toxic adhesive, and the cardboard is treated with a non-toxic fire retardant. An internal steel frame supports the large-format structure, and a flat frosted diffuser is integrated into the lower opening to soften the downward light.

The layered construction allows small amounts of light to pass through the corrugation, revealing texture while most light is directed downward through the diffuser for even illumination. The diffuser is held by an internal frame to ensure consistent light distribution across a wide area.

The pendant is suspended from a single thin cord and is intended for use in dry locations. Clean with a dry duster or compressed air. A two-year manufacturer warranty applies and detailed specification sheets are available for lamping and installation specifics.
