Graypants Scraplights Pendant

The Graypants Scraplights Pendant by Graypants is a ceiling pendant from the Scraplights range, handcrafted from layered recycled corrugated cardboard to deliver warm, intimate, decorative interior lighting.

Its form is a flattened, oblate spheroid created from stacked horizontal rings of corrugated board. A circular opening at the base gives direct downward light while the exposed corrugation produces a textured silhouette. The pendant is offered in Natural and White finishes.

Each shade is precision laser-cut and assembled by hand, with the layered construction clearly revealing the ribbed texture of the corrugation. The surfaces are treated with a non-toxic fire retardant and bonded with non-toxic adhesive.

Light is delivered both directly through the base aperture and as a soft, warm peripheral glow that filters through the small gaps in the corrugation. The hollow interior allows the inner walls of the rings to illuminate, emphasising three-dimensional texture and a gentle ambience.

The pendant is suspended from a ceiling on a single thin black electrical cord. A two-year manufacturer warranty is supplied with the product.
