Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp

Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp is the Twice as Twiggy floor lamp from Foscarini, designed by Marc Sadler as an oversized variation of the Twiggy icon for large interiors. It pairs a slender fibreglass-based composite rod with a large painted aluminium shade to create a light, drawn line that reads across open spaces.

The design uses a dramatic cantilevered arc so the light can be positioned over furniture without the base getting in the way. The lamp is offered in Crimson, Greige, Black and White finishes and is intended for large living and lounge areas where scale and presence matter.

Construction combines a fibreglass-based composite rod, a painted aluminium cone-shaped shade and a prismatic PMMA diffuser that sits at the cone's edge. The base is a large round epoxy powder-coated metal disc with a metal and steel ballast beneath for stability; the exterior carries a uniform liquid-coated finish.

Light is delivered from two integrated LED boards: one provides direct downward illumination and the other sends indirect uplight, giving a layered, glare-controlled ambience. The PMMA prismatic diffuser softens the beam and spreads light evenly for both task and ambient use.

The lamp includes its LED boards and the LED transformer, which is housed inside the metal and steel ballast beneath the base. A transparent electrical cable is fitted with a dimmer that acts as a gradual intensity control and as the on/off switch. The fitting is rated to IP20 and comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
