Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp is Marc Sadler’s iconic arched floor lamp reworked for greater reach. The Twiggy range’s dramatic cantilever is expressed here with a far-reaching, off-centre light point and a warm wood-look shade rendered in a lacquered fibreglass-based composite.

The design pairs a very thin, flexible matte-black rod with a tapered cylindrical drum shade finished in a light wood-grain effect. The sweeping arc allows the lamp to locate its light point some distance from the base, making it suitable for illuminating dining tables or lounge seating without ceiling fixtures.

Construction follows the designer intent: a liquid-coated fibreglass-based composite rod and shade, a translucent polycarbonate upper diffuser and an opaline white PMMA lower diffuser disc. The slim circular base is epoxy powder coated metal. The LED board sits on an aluminium disc protected by a small PMMA cover, and the floor lamp is supplied with four counter-weights for height and balance adjustment.

Light is delivered by the integrated double-sided LED board, giving direct downward illumination softened by the opaline lower disc and ambient diffusion through the upper diffuser. The result is a combination of task clarity and cosy ambience, useful for table lighting and relaxed lounge scenes.

Practical notes: the transparent power cable includes a dimmer that functions as an on/off switch and allows gradual adjustment of luminous intensity. The lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use and carries a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
