Foscarini Twiggy Elle Floor Lamp

Foscarini Twiggy Elle Floor Lamp, designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini, is an arched floor lamp reworked to deliver an off‑centre light point further from the base. The Elle variant deliberately projects light over a distance, making it suitable for lighting dining tables and seating without ceiling suspension.

The lamp reads as a wide, sweeping arc: a long, exceptionally thin rod rises from a low circular base to a vertically hanging cylindrical shade. It is offered in Grey, Crimson, Graphite, Black and White to suit considered interior palettes.

The rod and diffuser use a fibreglass‑based composite with a liquid coated finish, while the diffuser assembly combines translucent polycarbonate and opaline PMMA. The round base is epoxy powder coated metal and the LED assembly is mounted on an aluminium disc with a protective PMMA cover.

Light is delivered as a direct downlight under the shade while the open top and translucent materials provide a soft ambient glow. The double‑sided LED board is integrated into the fixture, and the design uses internal counterweights to balance the arched rod and stabilise the light point.

Practical notes: the lamp is IP20 and supplied with four counterweights for height adjustment above the diffuser. A transparent power cable is fitted with an inline dimmer that also serves as the ON/OFF switch, and the cable connects to a standard electrical outlet.
