Foscarini Tuareg Floor Lamp

Foscarini Tuareg Floor Lamp, designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Foscarini, is a sculptural indoor floor light that reads like a small work of land art. The Tuareg uses a three-dimensional assembly of tubular rods to deliver both form and function.

The design is deliberately asymmetrical: intersecting extruded aluminium tubes create a tripod-like footprint and a dynamic, branch-like silhouette. The lamp is offered in Black Chrome, Orange and White, allowing the Tuareg to be specified to suit contemporary interiors.

Construction uses liquid-coated extruded aluminium for the load-bearing frame and opaline polycarbonate diffusers to screen the light-emitting boards. The base houses a ballast and a non-slip thermoplastic protective pad for stable placement, with a black electrical cable supplied.

Three integrated LED boards are housed within the opaline diffusers and act as independent directional light sources. Each emitter can be adjusted up to 350° to vary the lighting effect, and the touch dimmer at the lower end of the screen controls on/off and luminous intensity for refined ambience and accenting.

Practicality is built in: independent switches on the three branches, a Teflon seal to guarantee smooth 350° movement, and an electronic transformer fitted on the plug so the lamp can be controlled from a standard wall socket. The fitting is rated IP20 and comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
