Foscarini Troag Suspension Lamp

The Foscarini Troag Suspension Lamp, designed by Luca Nichetto, is a linear ceiling pendant that pairs a minimalist boat-like silhouette with warm timber character. The Troag range translates refined Italian design into a focused lighting solution for dining tables, work desks and contemporary offices.

Troag’s form is defined by a long, slender, trough-shaped body in light-toned curved plywood, its tapered ends curving upwards to create a precise, elegant profile. The design concentrates light onto the surface beneath while contributing a calm, organic presence to the room.

Construction uses hot-curved plywood shaped on the edges with five-axis milling for crisp, thin profiles. An internal matt extruded PMMA diffuser sits within the wooden shell. Two satin-finish stainless steel suspension cables and a white ceiling canopy complete the refined material pairing.

Lighting is delivered by the integrated LED module (43W, 3000 K, 6080 lm, CRI >90), providing direct, controlled downward illumination suited to task and dining applications. The internal diffuser softens the beam to reduce glare while keeping light focused on the plane below.

Troag is dimmable using PUSH and DALI systems. The fitting is suspended from two discrete cables with a transparent electrical lead to the canopy. It carries an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor use; refer to installers for ceiling fixings and electrical termination. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year.
