The Foscarini Troag Suspension Pendant, designed by Luca Nichetto, is a linear ceiling lamp that combines a sculptural, boat‑like profile with precision lighting performance. Its elegant form is realised in hot‑curved plywood and is intended to provide focused downward illumination for dining tables, islands and work surfaces.

Troag's design emphasises a long, slender silhouette that tapers to thin, upward‑curving points at each end. The wood exterior shows a warm natural grain; the range is presented as an architectural linear form that brings warmth and balance to a room without excessive visual weight.

Construction is defined by hot‑curved plywood formed into a seamless shell with a matt extruded PMMA internal diffuser. Two stainless steel suspension cables carry the lamp and a transparent electrical cable provides a discreet power route, while a satin‑finish steel ceiling attachment and white canopy complete the mounting system.

The lamp delivers direct, downward light from an integrated LED source located in the central trough, concentrating illumination onto the surface beneath. This makes Troag well suited to task‑focused zones such as dining and work areas where clear, comfortable light is required.

When specified in the MyLight version, Troag supports Bluetooth dimming via the Casambi app for flexible control; note that installation and dimming compatibility should be confirmed for your project. The fitting is rated IP20 and carries a one‑year manufacturer warranty.
