Foscarini Tobia Floor Lamp

Foscarini Tobia Floor Lamp is a slim floor lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Foscarini. The Tobia range uses a single continuous tubular line to create a sculptural uplighter that projects light upwards from a concealed COB LED. Its compact vertical silhouette provides powerful ambient illumination while occupying minimal floor space.

Tobia’s form is defined by an exceptionally slender, mechanically curved aluminium and metal tube that rises to a flat top. An elongated loop at mid-height forms a knot-like handle and integrates the touch dimmer. The lamp is offered in liquid-coated or gilded finishes and across multiple variants to suit different schemes.

The body is formed from a mechanically bent aluminium and metal tube with a liquid coating or gilded surface. The tube flows into three small tripod feet created by bending the main body, giving stability and a seamless visual transition from pole to floor.

A COB LED at the top delivers a broad, upward-directed beam for ambient illumination. The fitted LED is 15W, 2700K, around 2000 lm with CRI >80, producing warm, high-quality uplight that reduces direct glare by bouncing light from the ceiling.

The curved mid-loop includes a touch-sensitive dimmer offering four intensity settings plus on/off. A black cable and transformer are supplied on the plug. Tobia is rated IP20 and comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
