Foscarini Tartan Pendant is a hand‑blown glass ceiling pendant by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The pendant’s textured glass and flattened spheroid form reference woven tartan while working as an interior ambient and task-capable light source.

The design is defined by a tartan-like grid of horizontal and vertical ridges across a semi-translucent shade. The Tartan is offered in Grey and White finishes, and its oblate spheroid silhouette sits quietly above a table or within a living space.

The shade is mouth-blown glass crafted with a specialised technique to embed the fabric-like pattern directly into the surface. A circular bottom aperture gives unobstructed downward illumination while the textured surface creates a subtle graphic play of shadows and highlights.

Light is delivered as diffuse ambient illumination through the patterned glass with direct downward light from the open base.
