Foscarini Spokes Pendant Light

The Foscarini Spokes Pendant Light, from the Spokes range designed by Garcia Cumini, is a ceiling-suspended pendant that reads as a sculptural lantern. Its flattened ellipsoidal form and dense repetition of thin vertical lines create a strong graphic volume while remaining visually transparent.

The design uses a cage-like frame of thin, curved spokes to produce a dynamic moiré effect and an impression of motion. The lamp is offered in Copper, Gold, Graphite, Black and White to suit a range of interiors.

Construction is made from a series of curved vertical rods that flare from a central top plate and converge at a small circular base housing. Two ultra-thin suspension cables and a single power cord support the shade, giving the fixture a weightless, floating appearance.

The open-cage form allows light to pass freely and cast rhythmic, linear shadow patterns across surrounding surfaces.
