Foscarini Spokes Pendant

The Foscarini Spokes Pendant is a decorative ceiling pendant from Foscarini's Spokes range, designed by Garcia Cumini. Built around an open, ovoid steel-spoke form, the fitting provides interior illumination through integrated light sources while maintaining a lightweight visual presence.

Spokes expresses motion and transparency through a cage of slender, vertically oriented steel rods that curve to form a voluminous shell. The large, birdcage-like silhouette reads light and shadow as part of the composition. It is available in Copper, Gold, Graphite, Black and White finishes.

Construction uses thin steel rods finished in a matte epoxy powder coat, anchored at the top to a circular disc and at the base to a central aluminium module that houses the electronics. The pendant is suspended by a thin stainless steel wire together with a separate electrical cable; the cable routing and slim wire contribute to the light, floating appearance.

The fixture features a dual LED light source located in the central module that provides downward task illumination while also lighting the internal structure. Light filters through the spokes to create patterned shadow and depth across surrounding walls and ceilings. With an IP20 rating, Spokes is intended for interior, dry environments.
