The open-cage form is created from numerous thin, curved steel rods finished in a matte powder coat. The range is available in Copper, Gold, Graphite, Black and White, allowing the Spokes 3 to sit quietly within varied interior schemes.

Construction uses powder-coated steel rods gathered at the top by circular discs in ABS/polycarbonate and tethered at the base to a central aluminium module that houses and dissipates the lighting boards. A stainless-steel suspension cable carries the weight while the electrical supply is concealed within one spoke to reduce visual clutter.

Light is delivered by a double LED source housed in the central aluminium module, giving multi-directional illumination to the area below while the cage filters light to create graphic patterns of light and shadow across walls and ceiling.
