Foscarini Rituals Table Lamp

Foscarini Rituals Table Lamp, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, is a compact table lamp that pairs a small blown‑glass diffuser with a low tripod base. The design references paper lanterns while remaining decidedly material: the glass has a plaster‑like matte finish and a ridged surface that softens and warms the light.

The Rituals diffuser is produced using a moulded negative decoration, then hand‑ground and immersed in acid to create the chalky, textured effect. The lamp’s compact scale and horizontal creasing are variants within the Rituals collection and suit bedside and sideboard use.

The glass diffuser modulates and filters the lamp’s output, producing a warm, evenly diffused ambience with subtle shadow and texture. The low tripod — a die‑cast zinc alloy finished with an epoxy powder coat — gives a refined, stable base that contrasts with the organic glass.

The lamp is supplied with an on/off switch fitted on a transparent cable and offers a dimmer for gradual brightness adjustment. It is rated IP20 and intended for indoor use; please check mounting and lamp information when specifying as bulbs or LED modules are not detailed in the product data.
