Foscarini Rituals Pendant

The Foscarini Rituals Pendant, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, is a decorative ceiling pendant from the Rituals range. The light references the paper-lantern tradition while being executed in blown glass, giving it a calm, sculptural presence for interior spaces.

Rituals is defined by an elongated, cocoon-like silhouette and continuous horizontal ribbing that wraps the shade. The pendant is offered in complementing shapes within the Rituals family and can be specified with different drop lengths to suit proportions and ceiling heights.

Constructed in blown glass, the shade displays a translucent, satin-white appearance and a finely textured surface. The ribbed profile is a clear craft cue, translating traditional making into a contemporary, architectural form.

The textured glass softens and diffuses the light, producing an even ambient illumination with subtle variations across the surface. The pendant is intended for general ambient lighting in living rooms, dining areas and other interior zones where a balanced, atmospheric glow is required. The fixture carries an IP20 rating and is therefore for indoor use only.

The suspension combines a thin structural support wire with a sinuous electrical cord, allowing the shade to hang at a considered height from a ceiling canopy. Long suspension lengths are available on request (manufacturer notes indicate up to 10 m on demand).
