The Foscarini Gioia wall light, designed by Andrea Anastasio, is a decorative wall-mounted fitting that pairs a statuary marble core with a large transparent PMMA disk. The composition reads as a jewel for the wall and is intended to provide ambient illumination and visual focus.

The perfectly circular PMMA disk contrasts with the organic, pebble-like silhouette of the marble centre; the two parts are free to move, recalling the sway of a pendant or earring. The design is offered in three variants to suit different scales and arrangements.

Construction combines a transparent PMMA (acrylic) disk with a statuary marble element — a white base with grey veining — secured by two small cylindrical metal pins finished in a polished gold tone. The thick PMMA carries a subtle cool/pale green tint, visible at the disk's edge.

The light source sits behind the central marble piece to produce a backlit halo; the PMMA disk captures and diffuses light across its surface for a soft, ambient atmosphere. Gioia is intended as a decorative interior wall light rather than a task fitting.
