Folio's form is deliberately light and minimal. The fixture presents a rectangular panel with a gentle outward curve and two faintly folded corners, creating the impression of a turned page. The surface reads as a uniform white with a matte, acid‑etched appearance.

The diffuser is formed from hot‑bent, hand‑blown cased glass that is acid‑treated externally to achieve a soft, frosted finish. The wall mounting plate and the housing for the lighting components are manufactured from aluminium and die‑cast zamak with an epoxy powder coat.

The large frosted glass surface softens light and reduces glare while a portion of the output is reflected back to the wall, producing a calm ambient wash. The design is intended as a decorative wall light that provides gentle, balanced illumination rather than concentrated task lighting.
