Foscarini Caboche Pendant

The Foscarini Caboche Pendant, designed by Eliana Gerotto and Patricia Urquiola, transforms light into a sparkling composition of transparent spheres. The Caboche range uses PMMA spheres on transparent PC arches to deliver decorative, diffused ambient lighting suitable for interior spaces.

The form reads as a toroidal, jewel-like ring encrusted with jewel‑like spheres attached by a twist-lock system to transparent supporting arches. The fixture appears to float from a three-point suspension of thin steel cables; it is offered in Grey and Clear appearance options.

Construction combines transparent PC arches and clear PMMA spheres with an internal body formed by powder‑coated steel sheets. The LED board is mounted on an aluminium disc for heat dissipation and the light is finished with an opaline PMMA disc above and a satin‑finish PMMA diffuser below.

Light is delivered by a double-sided LED board designed by Foscarini, producing a softened, ambient glow that the spheres refract into a sparkling surface. The lower diffuser reduces glare while the cluster of spheres multiplies highlights across the fitting, making it a decorative ambient source for living and reception areas.

Installation uses a white ceiling canopy and adjustable three-point steel cable suspension; an electric decentralisation kit is available. The Caboche is IP20 and intended for dry, interior locations. The MyLight version provides Bluetooth dimming via the Casambi App. Warranty: 1 year.
