Foscarini Buds Pendant

The Foscarini Buds Pendant is a hand-blown glass pendant designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Foscarini’s Buds range, created to deliver decorative ambient and directed downward illumination in interior spaces. Its sculptural, bud-like form is crafted to work singly or as part of considered multi-piece compositions.

Its elongated, ovate diffuser features a tapered upper section and a rounded lower section that emphasises a clean downward beam. The family explores subtle colour variations; the Buds 1 is offered in warm brown or warm white tones that change the character of the emitted light.

The shade is formed from hand-blown glass with a smooth, glossy surface and a seamless appearance, reflecting attention to craft and finish. A dual-cable suspension separates a thin load-bearing wire from a sinuous power cord, introducing a deliberate contrast between straight and sculptural lines.

The translucent glass diffuses light across the body to reduce glare while the open base provides direct downward light suitable for task or accenting surfaces beneath. As an interior suspension rated IP20, it is intended for dry zones in residential and commercial projects.
