The Foscarini Birdie Floor Lamp, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba for the Birdie range, reinterprets the classic lampshade silhouette with a contemporary, sculptural approach. Its tall, slender profile and integrated branch motif make it suited to ambient and local task lighting in interior spaces.

The lamp pairs a tapered cylindrical drum shade with a slim vertical stem and a flat circular base. A small branch-like protrusion on the upper stem provides a nature-inspired contrast to the minimal form. It is available in Copper, Aqua Green, Grey, Graphite and White finishes.

Construction combines a glossy, semi-translucent shade that gently diffuses light with a lacquered metal stem and base finished to a high gloss. The uniform pigment and finish create a seamless visual transition between shade and body, reinforcing the Birdie’s bold, monochrome aesthetic.

The semi-translucent shade produces soft, diffused light ideal for creating warm ambience or for subtle task lighting beside seating.
