The Foscarini Birdie Table Lamp, by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, reinterprets the classic lampshade form with a contemporary, nature‑inspired silhouette. The design pairs a tapered, translucent shade with a slender stem and a branch‑like tactile control to deliver balanced, diffused light for desks, bedsides and side tables.

Birdie is offered in two sizes and a selection of finishes to suit different schemes; available appearance options include Copper, Aqua Green, Grey, Graphite and White. The monochrome approach—shade, stem and base matched in the same finish—gives a clean, cohesive presence on a tabletop.

Construction combines a die‑cast zinc alloy base and a steel rod, both liquid coated for a durable exterior. The external diffuser is translucent injection‑moulded polycarbonate with an opaline internal diffuser to soften the glow and reduce glare while preserving clarity of light.

Light is delivered as gentle, diffused ambient illumination with a concentrated downward element through the shade, making Birdie suitable for relaxed task or bedside use.
