Foscarini Allegretto Pendant

The Foscarini Allegretto Pendant is a sculptural ceiling pendant from the Allegretto range, designed by Atelier Oï for Foscarini. It presents a slim, dual-stage silhouette of vertical rods that flare into a wide, conical skirt, intended to act as both an ambient and downward-focused light source.

Allegretto is realised in three variations on the same theme, each using repeating vertical elements to create a sense of transparency and presence. The fixture’s circular arrangement of thin metal rods and a contrasting mounting ring produce a two-tone metallic aesthetic that reads delicate from a distance yet intricate up close.

The lamp is constructed from thin, vertical metal rods finished in a warm gold or brass tone, joined to a polished chrome or silver-toned mounting ring. Suspension is by three aircraft-grade tension cables with a clear-insulated power cord, giving a precise hanging profile and visual lightness.

The light source sits centrally within the upper rod assembly so illumination filters through the vertical gaps, producing a decorative pattern of linear light and shadow.
