STORY

The Flua Meta Recessed Downlight from Flua is a circular, recessed ceiling luminaire in the Meta range designed to deliver directional, downward illumination with a considered, architectural presence.

Its design is minimalist and geometric: a low-profile round bezel sits flush to the ceiling and frames a deeply recessed conical baffle. The downlight is offered with Black or White trim, creating a striking two-tone contrast with its warm metallic interior.

The internal baffle has a warm metallic (gold/bronze) finish with a granular, stippled texture that reflects and diffuses light softly. The deep recess and textured surface together help reduce glare and produce a controlled, atmospheric glow.

Light is delivered by an integrated LED source with a high CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. The construction emphasises directional, task-capable illumination while maintaining a refined ambient quality through its warm-toned reflector.

The Meta is IP54 rated, making it suitable for bathroom environments and other locations requiring splash protection. It is designed for flush mounting into a ceiling cavity; the LED is integrated into the fitting.
