The Flos String Light Cone Pendant from the String Light range, designed by Michael Anastassiades, is a pared-back suspension lamp for interior overhead lighting. Its conical head and fine suspension give a refined, architectural presence while delivering controlled, diffused downlight.

Formally the design favours geometry and visual restraint: a sharply defined cone appears to hang by a single thread, the slender coaxial cable acting as a primary graphic element. The pendant is available in Black, Blue and White finishes to suit a range of contemporary schemes.

Construction is anchored in precision die-cast aluminium finished with a clear soft-touch varnish and an opal polycarbonate (PC) optical diffuser. The suspension uses a Kevlar-reinforced coaxial cable designed to be tensioned and routed across interior spaces without visual clutter.

Light is delivered downward and softened by the opal PC diffuser for even, glare-controlled illumination. The integrated light source is specified at 21W producing approximately 1,035 lm at 2,700K; the product is supplied with an electronic 48V system and the LED light source is replaceable by a professional. The fitting has an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor use.

Installation requires either the supplied ceiling/wall connection or a separate floor switch/power supply option; a control interface (electronic on/off with optical mechanism) and touch-dimming or a Casambi-ready variant are available depending on configuration. A dimmer is included with some versions and the product carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
