The Flos Glo-Ball Table Lamp, designed by Jasper Morrison for the Glo-Ball range, is a table lamp that provides soft, diffused ambient light. Its flattened oblate spheroid diffuser and minimalist support make it suited to desks, bedside tables and compact surfaces where even, glare-controlled illumination is required.

The design pairs a large, organic glass globe with an extremely thin, geometric stem to create a calm, balanced profile. The Glo-Ball is offered in Matt Black and Silver finishes, allowing unobtrusive contrast or a subtle metallic accent in the scheme.

The diffuser is hand-blown, flashed opaline glass with an externally acid-etched surface; it is secured by a die-cast threaded ring nut with an alodine-plated finish. The stem and base are finished in a high-thickness painted steel and the diffuser is supported by die-cast aluminium, reflecting considered material choices and craftsmanship.

The large translucent globe emits a uniform glow designed to avoid hotspots, making it ideal for ambient and desk use rather than focused task lighting. The cable-mounted electronic dimmer allows the regulation of brightness. The lamp carries an IP40 rating and is intended for indoor use; it is supplied without bulbs by default.
