Elstead Chapel Half Lantern Wall Light

The Elstead Chapel Half Lantern Wall Light is a traditional outdoor wall light from the Chapel range by Elstead. Its classic half-lantern silhouette and black finish reference English exterior lanterns while remaining compact where space is limited.

The design reads as a pared-back lantern with a flat backplate so the fitting sits flush to the wall. Clear glass panels give an open, 180-degree view of the internal lamp and the fixture is finished in a matte black that complements traditional and contemporary facades.

Manufactured in die-cast aluminium, the Chapel lantern is built for exterior use and detailed with a multi-tiered peaked roof and decorative finials at top and bottom. The clear glass enclosure is a protective barrier while maximising light output.

Light is delivered from a single central lamp held in a socket positioned towards the base of the lantern, making the output directional and easy to layer with other exterior lighting. The half-lantern form projects less from the wall than a full lantern, which helps where walkways or porches need clearance.

The Chapel Half Lantern is IP44 rated for protection against splashing water and carries a 10-year anti-corrosion warranty. The fitting requires one lamp (sold separately); no integrated driver or transformer is needed.
