STORY

The DCW éditions Respiro Pendant, designed by Philippe Nigro, is a linear ceiling pendant that pairs a minimalist silhouette with a contrasting warm interior. The piece reads as a modern trough-shaped light intended to provide controlled, downward-directed illumination for elongated surfaces.

Respiro is defined by a long, horizontal shade with a slim top and sides that curve outwards to reveal a warm inner lining. It is available in Gold and Black & Gold finishes to suit contemporary and natural schemes.

The exterior is finished in a smooth, matte black while the interior shows a warm, golden-brown wood-grain texture. The pendant is suspended by two thin vertical cables from a rectangular ceiling canopy; the two-point suspension keeps the fitting stable and level.

Curved side panels act as reflectors to soften the light and emphasise the internal wood tone. The fixture is primarily intended for downward illumination, making it well suited to dining tables, kitchen islands and long desks where focused, even light is required.
