DCW éditions Biny Bedside Reading Wall Light by Jacques Biny is a compact wall-mounted bedside fitting that combines ambient and task lighting for bedroom use. The design references mid-century French modernism while delivering contemporary function suitable for headboard mounting.

The unit pairs a recessed, louvred LED plate for a soft general glow with a dome-shaped directional spotlight for reading. It is offered in White, Black-White and Black finishes to suit a range of schemes.

Constructed from powder-coated metal, the chassis is low-profile and includes small ventilation/adjustment apertures above the louvres. The LED plate is detachable and the spotlight is mounted on a rotatable ball-and-socket joint for precise aiming.

Light is delivered by an integrated LED plate (detachable) and an LED spotlight; the specification lists a 6W LED plate plus a 2W spot at 2700K for warm illumination. The louvred plate diffuses light for ambient balance while the adjustable spot provides focused task light with reduced partner disturbance.

Control is by a 4-position toggle switch on the bottom edge, allowing either source or both to be selected. A built-in USB charging port is provided. The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor, dry-area installation and carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
