STORY

David Hunt Lighting Upton Pendant is a single-light ceiling pendant from the Upton range by David Hunt Lighting. The pendant pairs a large clear glass cloche with matt metalwork and is designed for interior ambient and task lighting.

The Upton's form features a wide dome that tapers to a cylindrical neck and is suspended from a stepped ceiling rose by a coordinating metal chain. It is offered in Antique Brass, Chrome and Black, available in Small and Large sizes, with a choice of Clear or Opal glass.

Metalwork and the stepped canopy are finished to a matt palette as shown; the transparent shade exposes the internal black socket housing and celebrates the light source and hardware as design elements. The fixture is constructed from metal and glass components for a transitional aesthetic.

The clear shade delivers an unobstructed, 360-degree light distribution and is shown with a decorative filament-style lamp. The fitting takes a single E27 (ES) lamp, maximum 60W GLS, and we recommend the BUL-E27-LED-16 LED replacement. It is dimmable when used with compatible bulbs and a suitable dimmer.

Height is adjustable at installation by shortening the suspension chain and the ceiling canopy is intended for hardwired mounting. Bulb is not included; the Upton has an IP20 rating and is suitable for interior, dry zones only. The product carries a one year warranty.
