David Hunt Lighting Teardrop Pendant

The David Hunt Lighting Teardrop Pendant is a single-light, interior pendant from the Teardrop range. It pairs a clear, rounded glass shade with a tapered, textured metal neck to create an elongated teardrop silhouette that suits kitchens, dining areas and general ambient lighting.

The design intentionally contrasts a hand-hammered metal ceiling rose and neck with a transparent glass globe. The pendant is offered in Pewter and Bronze finishes and hangs from a twisted cord that can be adjusted at installation to suit ceiling height and composition.

Construction is straightforward and honest: a clear, slightly flattened globular glass shade with an open base sits beneath a tall, flared metal neck and a matching hammered ceiling rose. The cord is a twisted textile-style supply and the socket is finished in a dark tone, reinforcing the vintage character of the design.

The open-bottom glass gives direct downward illumination while the clear material allows light to radiate around the room for a gentle ambient glow. The fitting is shown with a visible Edison-style filament lamp; David Hunt recommend a LED vintage filament lamp (BUL/E27/LED/15), which should be ordered separately.

The ceiling rose provides a mounting plate for hardwiring to a standard ceiling junction box and the cord-hung design allows height adjustment during installation. Lamps are not included. The pendant is supplied with a 1-year warranty.
