David Hunt Lighting Stowe Pendant

David Hunt Lighting Stowe Pendant is a single-light ceiling pendant from the Stowe range, presented with hand-blown glass and solid brass metalwork. The design reads as a contemporary interpretation of the schoolhouse pendant, intended for general and ambient interior illumination.

The Stowe pendant has a stepped, layered glass profile that gives the shade a distinctive, classic form. It is offered in Smoke and Opal glass options so you can choose between a transparent, decorative look or a softer, more diffused finish.

Construction combines hand-blown glass with solid brass hardware, a shallow circular ceiling canopy and a medium-length chain suspension. The chain allows for straightforward height adjustment during installation; additional chain is available on request.

The fitting uses a single central lamp (E27/ES) mounted vertically within the shade to deliver downward and outward light. The transparent Smoke option highlights the bulb as a visual feature, while the Opal option reduces glare and softens the emitted light. The open base also simplifies lamp replacement.

Bulb is not included. The pendant is compatible with 1 x 40W max ES GLS lamps; the Stowe is shown with the recommended BUL/E27/LED/15 filament-style LED (sold separately). It is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable lamp and a suitable wall dimmer. The fitting is supplied with an extra 50cm of braided cable; the ceiling canopy conceals the electrical connection for a neat finish.
