STORY

The David Hunt Lighting Hyde Pendant is a single pendant from the Hyde collection by David Hunt Lighting. It pairs a mid‑century inspired profile with contemporary detailing and is intended as a focused overhead pendant for tables, islands or circulation routes.

The pendant features a hand‑spun conical metal shade finished in a matt, hand‑sprayed paint. The range is offered in Antique Brass, Butter Brass and Polished Chrome hardware and is available in Small and Large sizes, with the shades offered in a wide range of hand‑sprayed matt colours.

Construction is grounded in solid brass framework with a tactile braided textile cable and matching metal ceiling rose. The shade exterior is matt painted while the interior uses a warm, reflective brass tone; visible hardware is finished in polished brass cues.

Light is directed downward through the open base of the shade to provide a clear, focused task or accent downlight. The fitting takes 1 x E27 (ES/GLS) lamp, 40 W max; an LED Classic GLS is recommended (BUL-E27-LED-16). The lamp is not included and the pendant will dim when used with a compatible dimmable lamp and dimmer.

Height is adjustable at the point of installation (28–128 cm) to suit different ceiling heights and placements. A matching metal ceiling rose is supplied for secure mounting to a ceiling junction box. No integral driver or transformer is required. The product is supplied with a 1 year warranty.
