STORY

The David Hunt Lighting Hicks 5‑Light Pendant is a five‑light armed chandelier from the Hicks range, finished in antique brass and designed to provide warm ambient illumination for interior ceilings. The fitting combines a classic silhouette with industrial‑vintage 'gas tap' detailing for a considered, traditional look.

The design features five sweeping arms rising from a central hub, each shown with rolled‑edge conical linen shades (HIC26) which are supplied separately. The pendant is also compatible with Doreen bespoke shades, available in an extensive colour palette to suit your scheme.

Constructed in solid brass with an applied antique brass finish, the Hicks pendant has visible metalwork detailing and a circular ceiling canopy. The chain suspension and central stem echo the industrial cues, while the linen shades offer a soft, tactile contrast to the metalwork.

Light is delivered from five separate lamp holders to create broad, even ambient illumination. Fabric shades are designed to diffuse light and reduce glare; the fitting accepts 5 x B22 (BC/GB) lamps, maximum 40W each. We recommend LED Golf Ball style bulbs (BUL‑B22‑LED‑3) for balanced output and compatibility with dimming.

Installation notes: the pendant is supplied with an extra 50cm of cable and height is adjustable at installation (approximately 56–106cm). Additional chain is available on request. Bulbs are not included and the fitting is dimmable when used with suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. The Hicks has an IP20 rating and is for interior use only. Please note the packaged fitting may not pass through openings smaller than 65cm; check access before ordering.
