David Hunt Lighting Cosmos 8-Light Pendant

The David Hunt Lighting Cosmos 8-Light Pendant is an oversized ceiling-mounted sputnik pendant from the Cosmos range. Constructed from solid brass with a soft butter brass finish and fitted with eight open glass globes, it is designed as a sculptural centrepiece to provide ambient, multi-directional illumination in large interior spaces.

The design uses a radiating arm system that alternates clear glass globes and solid brass spheres to create a constellation-like silhouette. The asymmetrical, starburst arrangement gives the fitting presence over dining tables, stairwells or double-height living areas while the butter brass finish offers a muted, contemporary warmth.

Built from solid brass with clear, open-ended glass shades, the Cosmos is suspended from a circular ceiling canopy by a central rod and an adjustable chain. The open globes allow straightforward bulb access and the visible socket detail complements the fitting’s sculptural character. This oversized pendant weighs 10.0kg and is delivered on a pallet.

The pendant takes 8 x ES GLS bulbs, maximum 40W each; bulbs are not included. We recommend LED replacements such as BUL-E27-LED-15 for longevity and lower running costs. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable lamps and a suitable dimmer; the open glass shades deliver direct, ambient light rather than heavily diffused illumination.

Hanging height is adjustable at installation (110–210cm) via the supplied chain. Please note the fitting and its packaging may not fit through entryways under 65cm and requires adequate fixings and support for installation. Product code COS0840H. Warranty: 1 year.
