STORY

The Dar Wayne Semi-Flush Ceiling Light is a semi‑flush mount fitting from Dar's Wayne range. It pairs a textured glass globe with metalwork and is specified as suitable for bathroom use, carrying an IP44 rating for installation within Zones 1 and 2 when installed correctly.

Formally the light features a spherical glass shade with a diamond‑lattice texture that creates a quilted visual effect. The design is compact and discreet, offered in two finishes: Matt Black and Polished Chrome.

Construction combines a metal mounting canopy and socket housing with a clear textured glass globe. The small, tiered cylindrical canopy keeps the fitting visually compact while the glass provides a tactile, decorative quality.

The clear textured glass allows a single internal light source to be visible while softening and diffusing the output, making the Wayne suited to ambient illumination. Its semi‑flush profile is appropriate for rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights beyond bathrooms, including bedrooms and lounges.
