Dar Waco Single Pendant Suspension

The Dar Waco Single Pendant Suspension from Dar is a single-light ceiling pendant designed to present a decorative lamp holder and support a choice of lamps or easy-fit shades. The Waco name describes its industrial-minimal aesthetic and its intention as an exposed, ceiling-mounted suspension for interior spaces.

Form is pared back: a low-profile matte-black ceiling rose gives way to a single black fabric-covered cable and a compact, die-cast lamp holder finished in antique copper. The lower half of the holder features a knurled shade ring; the design highlights the lamp holder and any vintage-style bulb or fitted shade you choose.

Build uses metal construction for the lamp holder with a tactile diamond-pattern knurl on the removable shade ring. The cable is fabric-covered for a considered finish and can be adjusted on installation to set the drop. Materials are chosen to produce a clear, high-contrast detail against the black rose and cable.

Light delivery is by a standard E27 (ES) large screw fitting, shown here with a clear ST64 LED filament lamp (illustrative). The pendant provides a single overhead point of light and is intended to showcase decorative lamps or to be paired with an easy-fit lampshade; bulbs are not included. IP20 protection denotes interior use in dry, protected zones.

Installation notes: the fabric cable can be shortened during installation to adjust drop height and the lamp holder’s removable shade ring accepts easy-fit shades.
