Dar Tyka Semi-Flush Ceiling Light

The Dar Tyka Semi-Flush Ceiling Light is a six-arm surface-mounted ceiling fitting from Dar. This decorative ceiling light pairs a polished chrome frame with clear glass globes that each enclose a decorative wire nest, and is intended for indoor ambient illumination.

At its heart is a central cylindrical hub and a short stem that links to a circular ceiling rose. Six horizontal arms extend in a two-tier starburst — three angled slightly upward and three slightly downward — creating a dynamic three-dimensional form and wide-angle light distribution.

Metal components including the canopy, stem, hub and arms are finished in polished chrome and terminate in transparent spherical glass shades. Each globe contains an intricate tangled wire mesh insert that adds texture to the light and a crafted contrast with the high-shine metalwork. The unit is designed for surface mounting with a metal plate concealed by the ceiling rose.

The Tyka delivers diffused, multi-directional ambient light from six individual points; the internal wire nests moderate direct glare and introduce a complex, decorative shadowing.
