Dar Serafina 6 Light Pendant

The Dar Serafina 6 Light Pendant is a large, sculptural ceiling pendant from Dar, finished in brushed chrome and formed from hundreds of short metallic tubes. The design reads as a contemporary ceiling sculpture while delivering ambient illumination for living, dining and open-plan spaces.

The pendant’s spherical shade is hollow at its centre and constructed from a dense, grid-like arrangement of small tubes. This textured geometry produces an animated, patterned effect when lit. The fitting is supplied with a small polished chrome ceiling canopy and a suspended cable system whose hanging length is adjustable at install.

Construction is metal with a brushed chrome finish to the tube elements and a polished chrome canopy for a discreet ceiling fix. The open, perforated structure is a deliberate material choice that balances visual lightness with sculptural presence.

Light is provided by six internal lamp holders to give even, omnidirectional ambient output; the perforations allow light to emanate and project a textured pattern into the room. The fitting requires lamps (6 x 60W max ES GLS); bulbs are not included. It is dimmable when paired with suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. The product is rated IP20 and intended for dry, internal zones only.

Installation notes: hanging height is adjustable (95–280cm) at the point of installation. No external driver or transformer is required for the lamp holders. The Serafina carries a 2 year standard warranty, extendable to 5 years with online registration.
