STORY

The Dar Brompton Outdoor Wall Light is a traditional outdoor wall-mounted lantern from Dar. The matt grey 'old iron' finish and seeded antique-textured glass give the fitting a period-correct character that suits entrances and building perimeters.

The design reads as a classic lantern: a cylindrical seeded glass shade is held within a metal frame defined by three vertical bars, a tiered domed cap and a scalloped backplate. A curved cradle-style arm supports the lantern from the base, reinforcing the historic aesthetic.

Construction features a metal frame finished in a mottled matt 'old iron' and a sealed seeded glass enclosure. The internal socket is designed to accept a standard GLS (ES/E27) bulb, visible through the glass which contributes to the vintage look.

The seeded glass softens and subtly diffuses the lamp, making the Brompton well suited for ambient exterior illumination at doorways or along façades. Its single-bulb lantern format offers a clear, directional source within a protected enclosure.

Practical notes: the fitting is IP43 rated for outdoor use and benefits from its sealed glass enclosure. Bulb is not included — the lantern takes 1×ES/E27 GLS up to 60W (we recommend using an LED E27 alternative). Many LED filament lamps are dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer. The product comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
