Dar Alana Six-Light Pendant

The Dar Alana Six-Light Pendant is a six-light ceiling pendant by Dar, created to provide multi-directional ambient illumination for interior spaces. Its open, sputnik-inspired silhouette and wide span make it suitable as a central room fitting where balanced all-round light is required.

The design uses an asymmetrical, geometric arrangement of intersecting metallic rods to form a starburst profile. The canopy suspension is adjustable between 25–120cm, while the overall span approaches 1 metre. It is offered in Antique Brass, Polished Gold, Satin Chrome and Matt Black finishes to suit a range of interiors.

Construction details visible in the design include slender metal arms finished with a brushed metallic look and a circular ceiling rose fed by a thin black cloth-covered cable. Six cylindrical lamp holders sit at the ends of the arms, giving the fixture a lightweight, airy presence despite its wide span.

The open-bulb arrangement delivers unobstructed light distribution around the room, so the pendant works well as ambient lighting above dining tables, living areas or entrance spaces. The product is rated IP20 for indoor use; the pictured bulbs are decorative pear-shaped filament lamps and are supplied separately.

Please note lamps are sold separately. The fixture requires standard ceiling mounting and should be installed by a qualified electrician; check lamp type, wattage and dimmer compatibility with your installer. Warranty is two years standard, extended to five years with online registration.
