STORY

The CVL Luminaires Ip Bathroom Wall Light, designed by Emilie Cathelineau, is a decorative wall-mounted fitting created specifically for bathroom environments. It pairs a slim, cylindrical opal diffuser with a geometric metal housing to deliver considered, architectural detail beside mirrors and vanities.

The design emphasises contrast between the soft, rounded diffuser and an angular, wedge-shaped metal body that sits flush to the wall. The Ip range is offered in a wide range of polished and satin metal finishes to suit contemporary schemes.

Construction pairs a matte opal diffuser — in glass or acrylic — with a highly reflective metal housing; small, low-profile circular caps secure the diffuser top and bottom. The result is a refined silhouette that balances presence with restraint.

The opal diffuser gives even, glare-controlled illumination, making the fitting suitable for task-adjacent locations such as either side of a mirror or mounted above a vanity. Its linear form is optimised for narrow wall areas where space is limited.
