STORY

The CVL Luminaires Calee Suspension Calée V2 is a pendant light designed by Duo Pool for interior use. The composition pairs a solid cylindrical shade with a flat vertical disk, creating a minimal geometric profile that reads as both architectural and decorative.

The Calée V2 is offered in Satin Copper, Satin Nickel, Satin Graphite and Satin Brass, allowing straightforward coordination with a range of schemes. The design balances a warm metal finish against a contrasting matte disk and a black textile-sheathed suspension cable.

Constructed from solid brass components with a brushed satin finish and suspended on a textile cable, the fitting includes a matching satin brass ceiling rose for an integrated ceiling detail. A polycarbonate diffuser sits beneath the cylinder to mediate the light output.

The pendant is configured to deliver focused downward illumination suitable for task or accent lighting beneath the shade. The specification lists a warm colour temperature of 2700K and an output of 900lm, making the luminaire appropriate where a warm, contained pool of light is required.
