CTO Lighting's Lucid table lamp, designed by Michael Verheyden, draws on the Lucid range's Parisian-brasserie and snow‑dome inspiration. The piece pairs a translucent alabaster dome with a low-profile metal base to form a quietly sculptural table light intended for ambient interior lighting.

The lamp's form centres on a hemispherical stone shade set above a short cylindrical base with a textured metal band. The design is offered in three appearance options: Oxidised Silvered Brass, Bronze and Satin Brass, allowing the lamp to read either patinated or polished within a scheme.

Materials are carefully considered: a honed, translucent natural stone shade (alabaster) sits against a rugged, hand-finished metal band whose weathered, crater-like texture is a deliberate craft detail. A thin polished ring at the foot provides a refined contrast to the patinated surface.

The thick alabaster dome acts as an integrated diffuser, softening the lamp's output and creating a warm, balanced ambience rather than harsh task light. The lamp is designed for stable placement on flat surfaces, making it suitable for side tables, consoles and bedside tables where ambient mood is the priority.
