STORY

The CTO Lighting Carapace Pendant is a design-led ceiling pendant from the Carapace range. The light pairs hand-spun metal shades with a frosted opal glass globe to create a refined mid-century-inspired silhouette suited to interior use.

The pendant has a tiered, concentric shade assembly that contrasts a broad dark outer brim with a brushed brass inner bowl and a luminous opal globe. The Carapace is offered in the finishes shown and presents as a considered focal point above dining tables, islands or in entrance spaces.

The construction combines spun metal shades with a frosted opal glass diffuser. The brass interior reflects and warms the light while the opal globe provides even diffusion to minimise glare. The chain suspension is metal and finished to match the outer shade.
