STORY

The Buster and Punch Caged Wall Light is a decorative wall light from the Caged range by Buster and Punch. It combines a matte black open-frame metal cage with a central lamp holder and a solid marble backplate, intended as an architectural ambient fitting for interior walls or ceilings.

The design emphasises structure and material contrast: a minimalist skeletal cage exposes the internal bulb and highlights the backplate. Available in White Marble and Black Marble, and offered in Small, Medium, Large and Extra-Large sizes to suit different scales and compositions.

Construction uses a matte black metal cage with an integrated back panel of natural marble and a cross-knurled lamp holder secured with the brand's signature coin screws. The oversized flat-head fixings are a distinctive detail that reads as industrial yet considered.

The open cage allows light to disperse freely, creating an even ambient glow that makes this fitting suitable as a decorative wall or ceiling light. It photographs well with a decorative globe such as the Buster Bulb (shown), but bulbs are sold separately.

The fitting can be hardwired into the wall or fitted with an external cable (not included) and connected to a plug. Select the dimmable version if the light will be used on an LED-capable dimmer; otherwise choose non-dimmable. Note the product is rated IP20 and intended for interior use. Warranty: 2 years.
