STORY

Bega Opal Glass Wall/Ceiling Light by Bega is a compact exterior luminaire that combines a cylindrical metal base with a domed opal glass diffuser. The fitting is intended for wall or ceiling mounting and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor locations where diffused ambient light is required.

The design is geometric and minimalist: a low-profile, concentric circular form with a slightly projecting opal dome. It is offered in Graphite and Silver finishes and in colour-temperature options of 3000K or 4000K, allowing the fitting to be matched to a range of exterior and interior schemes.

Construction pairs a textured metal housing with a mouth-blown opal glass diffuser that extends slightly in front of the metal rim. The diffuser is secured to the housing with a small visible side screw; the flat backplate indicates a flush-mount installation directly to the mounting surface.

The opal glass softens and distributes light evenly, reducing glare while directing a portion of light back onto the mounting surface for pleasant reflected illumination. Selected variants are supplied with LED lamps at 3000K, and the fitting is suitable for general ambient lighting in corridors, stairways, entrances and sheltered exterior areas.

Practical notes: the luminaire is IP65 rated for protection against water and dust, and it carries a standard 2-year warranty with potential project-specific extension to 5 years by written agreement.
