STORY

The Astro Renoir Picture Light is a wall-mounted picture light from the Renoir range by Astro, designed to deliver considered, directional illumination for artwork, mirrors and framed photography. The Renoir 520 model pairs a refined curved lamp head with an architectural mounting for a restrained, gallery-style presence.

Formally the fitting features a long, slim horizontal light bar with a semi-cylindrical, curved profile and a single straight arm that connects the centre of a compact rectangular backplate to the light housing. The Renoir is offered in Matt Brushed Brass and Bronze finishes to suit a range of interior schemes.

Constructed from metal with a smooth matte bronze appearance on the pictured example, the fixture is engineered with a low-profile backplate that mounts flush to the wall. The single-arm bracket provides a minimalist, balanced aesthetic while housing the electrical connections discretely within the wall plate.

The light source is located on the underside of the horizontal bar, producing a wide, controlled pool of downward illumination that highlights wall-hung items without excessive spill. With a CRI of 90, the Renoir preserves accurate colour rendering for artwork and decorative objects.
