The Astro Minima Recessed Downlight is a recessed round downlight from Astro's Minima range, designed to deliver directional ceiling illumination with a restrained, architectural presence.

Its form pairs a circular outer trim that sits flush with the ceiling and a deeply recessed conical baffle. The inner lamp housing tilts to aim the beam, and the fitting is available in Matt Black or Matt White to suit contemporary schemes.

Constructed for integration into a plastered ceiling, the Minima uses plaster or ceramic surrounds with a uniform matte finish and a clear lens with a faceted reflector that helps shape the beam.

Specify a single GU10 lamp (1 x 50W max) — the deep-set lamp is designed to reduce glare and create a focused 'dark light' effect. Beam direction is adjustable via the tilting mechanism; dimming is possible when using a compatible dimmable lamp (lamp dependent).
