Astro Edward Desk Lamp is a desk lamp from Astro's Edward range, characterised by a contemporary-industrial silhouette and considered metal detailing. The design pairs a flat circular base with a slender, angled arm and a classic conical head to provide focused task lighting for a work surface.

The lamp's form is deliberately restrained: a straight angled arm connects to the base via a cylindrical pivot, and the shade attaches with a second pivot for multi-directional adjustment. The design includes a slender handle at the rear of the shade to aid precise aiming without touching the hot surface.

Construction uses metal components specified as zinc and steel, with a uniform matte-black exterior finish and contrasting matte-gold finishes on the pivot points and handle. The lampshade interior is finished white to maximise light reflection and clarity on the desk below.

Light is delivered as directional task illumination from the conical head, with the white-lined interior increasing usable light on the work area. Two gold-toned pivot points allow fine adjustment of aim and beam angle so the lamp can be set for reading, writing or focused screen work.
