The Astro Blanco Square Adjustable recessed downlight from Astro is a plaster‑in ceiling fitting designed for seamless, architectural ceilings. The Blanco Square Adjustable combines a square outer aperture with a circular internal lamp ring to give a refined, sculptural appearance.

Its form features a square recess with four angled interior faces that slope inward to a deep circular lamp housing. The unit is supplied in a matt white finish intended to blend with plaster ceilings and is designed to be filled, smoothed and painted for a trimless result.

Constructed for plaster‑in installation, the downlight is produced in gypsum (plaster) so the outer edges can be integrated into the ceiling finish. The inner walls are cleanly bevelled to create crisp architectural lines and controlled shadowing around the aperture.
